To begin designing your personalised product, go to the “heart” icon on the left-hand side of the screen. From there, you can choose one shape and one ribbon to start your design. Once you have selected your preferred options, the designer will load with your chosen shape and ribbon. You can also choose the question mark ribbon, and we will surprise you with a ribbon selection.

If you decide that you want to change your chosen shape and ribbon you can return to the first tab to change your selection. When changing the shape or ribbon we will load the design work into the new options, however, if the new shape does not support artwork (the small heart) this will be removed from the canvas.

If the shape you have chosen supports artwork, you can go to the artwork tab (which is represented by a paintbrush icon) to see various categories. You can search for specific designs (such as flowers) by using the search bar, or you can browse the different categories by clicking on the titles. Once you find the artwork you want to add to the canvas, simply click on the image, and it will automatically be added to the canvas.

After adding artwork to the canvas, you can resize, rotate, and move it around as needed. To do this, simply click on the artwork within the canvas, and you will see options appear at each corner. The top left option duplicates the current artwork, the top right option allows you to rotate the artwork, the bottom right option lets you resize the artwork, and the bottom left option removes the artwork from the canvas. Please note that artwork has a minimum size, as it can be difficult to draw at certain sizes, we don’t allow you to make the artwork too small.

Yes, to remove artwork from the canvas, simply select the applicable item and click on the bin icon located at the bottom left corner.

By default, there is a placeholder text area on the canvas with the words “Your message”. This is the only text that you are allowed to add to the design. However, you can customise it by moving it around the canvas, changing its size and alignment, and adding vertical spacing as needed.

To customize the text, click on the text within the canvas or go to the “Manage Text” tab on the left-hand side. Here, you will see a text area and buttons to change the font size and alignment of your text. You can also move the text around the canvas by clicking on it and dragging it to the desired location.

Yes, to remove text from the canvas, select the text you want to delete, and then navigate to the Manage Text tab on the left-hand side. Click on the “Clear all text” button, or manually delete the text from the text area. This will remove the text from the canvas.

To request your own custom artwork, select the “Request a drawing” artwork item. This will add a placeholder to the canvas, allowing you to select where you want the custom artwork to be located. After completing the design, in the final step, you can provide details about your request in the “Any Requests?” text area before adding the item to your basket.
